WHO'S JOSH

Hello! I'm so glad you decided to take a look at my tutoring service! My name is Joshua Webb, a second-year Teacher Cadet in Edgecombe County Public Schools and After School Counselor. I am dedicated to becoming a teacher and serving the next generation of leaders and change agents.

I decided to create 2H tutoring because as someone who grew up in the public education system I know how much work is needed to make education accessible and equal to all. I wanted to create a space where mistakes are encouraged and learning is continuous.

Currently, I am enrolled at Edgecombe Early College High School in my super senior year! I have completed 42 out of 40 high school credits and taken 34 college credits-mainly focused on humanities such as history and English.

I am planning to transfer to the University of North Carolina At Greensboro for my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education (B.Ed) and return to Edgecombe County to teach and serve my community.

I have over 3 years of experience working in afterschool programming, and I have spent two years as a teacher cadet in Edgecombe County providing instruction to local middle schools. I am advanced childhood certified, Camp Safety Certified, and I have been on numerous podcasts/media events to express the changes needed in our education system. I believe that education is constant, and after spending over 50 hours in teaching internships, I know that learning does not only begin and end inside the classroom. It is a process that we must engage in through continual studying.
